Drake’s Imminent 12-Track “Skeleton King” Album Provokes Excitement Among Fans

Canadian rapper Drake has been promoting the Jamaican dancehall artiste Popcaan’s “Chromatic Fixtape” while quietly fine-tuning his own album. It has been reported Drake will drop a new body of work titled “Skeleton King” on 28 August.

The date for the release of Drake’s project has become a vital one in global hip hop, as several notable artistes have adopted the same date for the release of their projects. South Africa’s Nasty C is a sterling example. His “Zulu Man With Some Power” drops that day.

Drake’s imminent body of work has been greeted with approbatory nods across cyberspace. Perhaps one shouldn’t be surprised given that he is one of the biggest rappers in the world right now and one with the most Hot 100 top 10 hits in Billboard history as at July 2020.
