Canadian rapper Drake shows his human side again as he sends a warm message to a fan who is in hospital.
Zelek Murray, 14, was celebrating his 14th birthday at the hospital. The teen is reportedly suffering from a rare form of brain cancer.
According to reports, Drake’s friend the singer-songwrite Mustapha The Poet, informed him of Zelek Murray and the fact he is a fan of champagne Papi.
In his message, Drake noted how tough the fan had to be, stating that he is a fan of Zelek Murray as well, because the teen has a lot of heart. He urged Zelek Murray to stay strong, ending with a note of love for the teen.

In an Instagram post, Zelek Murray’s mother thanked Mustapha The Poet and Drake. He noted that the message from Drake was just what her son needed to uplift his spirit and never give up. She ended up calling Drake her hero.
By the way, this isn’t the first time Drake had reached out to a fan with a medical challenge. Earlier this year, the Certified Lover Boy had FaceTimed with a young fan called Elijah. Sadly the fan had passed away from cancer soon after.
