South African disc jockey and producer Lady Du is set to collaborate with Nigeria’s Davido and Ghana’s Tripcy on a remix of “Freeway.”
The original track was released last year and featured DJ Pee Raven. The songster will be off the imminent remix. In his place will be the Nigerian singer and DMW boss Davido.
In a post to her Instagram page, Lady Du had shared a clip of her studio session with the songsters. In the caption, she had noted working with the duo was a great way to start the New Year.
She bid Nigeria, South Africa and Ghana stand up and be ready for what’s imminent.
Although lady Du gave no clues when the song will be released, the reactions to her post so far indicate that fans are already excited and just can’t wait to savor the collaborative number with her Ghanaian and Nigerian counterparts.
The excitement isn’t surprising given the caliber of the people she elected to work with for the remix. Davido is easily one of the biggest names in Nigerian music right now, and Tripcy isn’t doing badly.
