Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Responds To Vin Diesel’s Call To Rejoin Fast & Furious 10

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has declined Vin Diesel’s request to rejoin “Fast & Furious 10,” describing the call as an example of Diesel’s manipulation.

Speaking to CNN on Diesel’s call to rejoin the franchise, The Rock had expressed surprise by it all. According to him, in the middle of this year, when both of them connected (not over social media), he’d been firm in his words to Diesel that he won’t be returning to the franchise.

He said it was wrong for Diesel to have brought up Paul Walker’s death and Johnson’s children in his attempt to get him (The Rock) back on the franchise. As far as The Rock is concerned, it’s nothing other than manipulation.

According to The Rock, he’d spoken to his partners at Universal and they were very supportive of him. And while he’ll no longer be a part of “Fast & Furious,” he’ll always support the franchise to succeed.

By the way, until his exit, The Rock played the role of Michael Hobbs. He popped in the series first in 2011 and remained until 2017. He reappeared again in 2019. Never to return, on his own terms.

“Fast & Furious 10,” sans The Rock, will be in theaters in May 2023. Well, until then.
