Electronic Band Faithless’s Singer Maxi Jazz Dead At 65

Maxi Jazz, a member of the collective Faithless, is dead. the group announced his passing in a recent Instagram post. he was 65.

In the announcement, the group noted that the musician died peacefully in his home in South London. Harping on the contributions he made in their lives and in the group, the collective noted that he changed their lives in so many ways.

It also noted that he was a great human being who gave proper meaning and message to their music. A man of profound wisdom, he was accessible to everyone as well.

While the news of his death provoked mourning in many quarters, it has also led to people and organizations coming out with his flowers, although in death he might not be able to appreciate them.

In a tweet, Crystal Palace Football Club noted it is mourning the death of the legendary musician. It also stated that the team will walk out to Faithless today (Boxing Day).

The reggae band UB40 also had some kind words to share about the late musician, noting in a tweet that Jazz was a “lovely guy” who had gone too soon. But now, at least, he can have a good rest, according to the band.
