Your “Elements” Girl Elaine has been nominated for the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Award and she’s so excited about it all.
Taking to Instagram soon after her nomination, she had shared her delight and gratitude. The songstress was nominated in the Viewer’s Choice: Best New International Act category. Nominated alongside Elaine are Tems (Nigeria), Ronisia (France), Mc Dricka (Brazil), Bree Runway (UK) Arlo Parks (UK) and Bramsito (France).
On her nomination, Elaine is grateful to her fans, as she thinks she would not have been nominated without their help. Apparently she has been looking to an award nomination. Now that she has it, she describes patience as a virtue and God as faithful.
With several artistes on the nominees’ list, it remains to be seen who will eventually go home with the BET scudetto.
If Elaine should clinch the award, it would be another big win – but certainly not her finest hour – having recently clinched a recording deal with Columbia Records.
