Elon Musk & James Frank Expected as Witnesses in Johnny Depp’s Legal Tango With Ex-Wife Amber Heard

Elon Musk is among the famous names due to testify in the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard litigation case.

Depp and his estranged wife had had a tiff since 2019, when he initiated a defamation suit against her following her claim, in an article a year earlier in the Washington Post, that she was a victim of domestic abuse.

The Sun had peddled the same narrative, calling him a “wife beater” in an article. The Pirates of the Caribbean star had sued the publication for libel but lost the suit.

Besides Musk, another notable witness expected at the trial is James Franco. Both high-profile figures are part of the case only because Johnny Depp accused them of having affairs with his ex-wife.

However, while Johnny Deep and Heard are expected to testify in person, Franco and Musk will testify virtually.

Heard wanted the case dismissed or transferred to California but was unsuccessful in that attempt. She had, after that, counter-sued her former husband for $100 million. That was a year after Deep’s suit.

The trial is expected to commence on April 11 in Virginia. It will be interesting to see what direction the case will take next month and who among the litigants will emerge victorious.
