Eminem Announces ‘Music To Be Quarantined By’ Playlist

Eminem has announced that a three-hour special will be aired on Saturday, the 2nd of May, on his Shade45 SiriusXM Channel. This will feature songs by hip hop legends including Wu-Tang Clan, Tupac Shakur, and Beastie Boys.

Marshall Mathers, popularly known by the stage name, Eminem, has been entertaining his fans during the coronavirus quarantine with great music. The multi-award-winning rapper recently announced that his ‘Music to Be Quarantined By’ playlist will be launched on his Shade45 SiriusXM Channel on the 2nd of May.

‘Music to Be Quarantined By’ which is named after his recently-released album, ‘Music to Be Murdered By,’ is a three-hour-long special that will first air at noon EST.

The show will air all weekend and the week that follows it. Eminem took to his Instagram page to announce the special.

He wrote:

Reports have it that the playlists will be made up of songs that the talented rapper has been listening to since he has been quarantined at home. The playlists will feature classic songs from tons of legendary artists including Wu-Tang Clan, Tupac Shakur, MC Lyte, The NOTORIOUS B.I.G., Mobb Deep, Run DMC, Beastie Boys, and others.

The forty-seven-year-old emcee has been giving back to the community during the coronavirus crisis. To assist DJs, who have been facing challenges with sourcing for income following the closure of social gatherings and venues, his Marshall Mathers Foundation launched the Love Your DJ campaign. Because of this challenge, Michigan DJs stood a chance to win $313 cash payments by submitting their mixes. He also assisted Detroit healthcare workers by donating tons of his Mom’s Spaghetti brand.
