Emtee Clinches Three Gold Plaques For Three Songs Off His “Logan” Album

He may have exited Ambitiouz Entertainment, but Emtee is still out and winning on his own terms. This reality was amplified recently, once again, when he earned three gold plaques for his songs “Logan,” “Ithemba,” and “Long Way.”

All songs are part of the songster’s “Logan” album, a project named for one of his sons and released as a solo artist.

Emtee was pretty chuffed with his win and celebrated it by sharing a picture of him posing with his plaques on his verified Instagram page. You can check it out below.

He isn’t the only one pleased by the win, though. Other musos and his fans were just as pleased, and they celebrated with him in the comments.

Before releasing the gold-clinching album, Emtee was signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment and released some scorching tunes there. Along the line, his relationship with the record label collapsed, and he insisted on leaving. He ultimately left in a storm of acrimony.

Since leaving, he has set up his own record label, Emtee Records, which has been instrumental in releasing his music since.

Well, for Emtee, the wins never stop. Perhaps without meaning to, the songster had shown that one needs not be signed to one of the majors to continue excelling.
