Emtee’s announcement of his soon-to-be released album, ‘Logan’ had made his fans extremely excited. Now, they are in exhilaration knowing that he will also be releasing two albums this year, making these his 4th and 5th studio projects. Albums already released by Emtee includes Avery, DIY1 and DIY2.
After Emtee announced that the highly-anticipated album, Logan, will be released, he has also come out to announce that he plans to release another album titled DIY3, this year. The hip-hop artist made the announcement on his twitter page
His upcoming album, DIY3 will be a follow-up album to his sophomore and third album, DIY1 and DIY2, which were released in 2016 and 2018 respectively. Songs from DIY1 and DIY2 have earned Emtee multiple awards including Amstel Record of the Year, Best Remix, Best Music Video and Song of the Year.
The award-winning artist said that his projects will be released unannounced so that he would not make a commitment he cannot fulfill and disappoint his fans.
However, his fans are eagerly waiting to listen to more songs from their favourite artist!
His fans have urged him to drop the date for album release but the talented musician is reluctant. Rumours going around is it that “Logan” is a 17-tracks album with features from the likes of Chad da Don, Sjava, Saudi, Gemini Major, A-reece and many more, we are unable to confirm these rumours but Emtee has come out to clear the air and tag those rumours as fake. A fake track list has been circulating on Facebook, which people claimed to be the track list of the musician’s upcoming album.
Emtee has stated that A-Reece will not be featuring on his new album, and he will not be working with Rouge, Chad da Don or Sjava.
Emtee and A-Reece have disputed over an issue after A-Reece pulled out of Ambitiouz some few years back. Fans of both artists are still hoping that they would reconcile their differences and work together on a project.
Mthembeni Ndevu, popularly known as Emtee, is a South African rapper and songwriter. He is popular for his debut hit single, “Roll Up”. Emtee was signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment but he exited the record label last year 2019.
