South Africa’s trap prince Emtee has just disclosed something that got his fans thinking. Amid his troubled union with his girlfriend Nicole Chinsamy, Emtee has disclosed he would be grateful to actress Pearl Thusi to the end of his days.
The songster didn’t give reasons for his devotion and gratitude to the actress and television host, but fans have been making guesses. Some think the two are into something romantic a la A$AP Rocky and Rihanna
The overwhelming opinion is that Pearl Thusi was at least partly instrument to Emtee’s rise to fame.
Back in 2015, the songster had released a song named for Pearl Thusi and followed it up with a music video which featured her. The video, which has been viewed millions of times, launched Emtee into the public’s consciousness. Apparently he has been grateful to her since.
From an obscure artiste, he has become one of the notable figures in South African music.
