A run-in with the police is something many people would rather not experience. Harassment from the police is just as frustrating for many people, and they would rather not have it.
South African rapper Emtee might be used as a good example. Given the chance, he would rather not have any drama with the police. But as the saying goes, life does not always go the way people wish or plan.
Again, that is Emtee’s story here. The songster has just shared his frustrations with the Johannesburg Metro Police Department, highlighting how a cop from the department ill-treated him.
He didn’t go into details of what exactly caused the whole drama. He merely emphasized that he is a law-abiding citizen who would not do anything contrary to the law – certainly not in Jozi where he grew up.
He also highlighted how the unnamed cop threatened to arrest him and his friends and seize their phones. To be sure the message gets to the department, he mentioned/ tagged JMPD in the post which you can check out below.
The post attracted many South Africans, some of whom empathised with him over the whole drama and also joined him in calling out the department.
