SA Hip Hop star, Emtee has shared why he didn’t perform at Cotton Fest 2022.
The recently held Cotton Festival was a raging success. Festival-goers have shared reactions to performances by some of the country’s biggest stars, from Cassper Nyovest to AKA, who squashed his beef with Da L.E.S on stage. They both performed their hits together.
However, rapper, Emtee was noticeably absent from the festival. A fan took to Twitter to ask him why, and the “Brand New Day” rapper revealed that he was sick. He said it had something to do with his tonsils. A couple of his fans sympathized with him in the tweet’s comments.
No doubt, if he had performed, Emtee would have been one of the festival’s best performers. Sadly, we missed out on it. Hopefully, the SA Hip Hop star will make it to the next Cotton Fest. Emtee also revealed to a fan that his humility had cost him so much.
