South African Rapper and songwriter, Emtee might just be releasing a new song titled “Wave” anything from now if his recent social media activity is anything to go by.
The rapper who had just been nominated by Avancemedia for Most Influential Young South African made the announcement of a new song release on his Instagram page, he made a post with an image which appears to be the song art cover and captioned it:
A wave is coming.
This is coming after Emtee’s announcement of 2 album he plans to release. He had earlier announced that he will be releasing two albums titled Logan and DIY3 this year 2020. We are unable to confirm these albums release dates or which album comes first before the other but the singer had committed himself to fans and industry insiders that 2 albums should be expected from him this year.
Produced by Ruff, Emtee’s soon to be released single titled “Wave” might be off any of his forthcoming albums. He has since his exit from former record label in August 2019 collaborated with different artists on songs including Klippa by Focalistic, Culture Vulture by 25k featuring AKA and Khumbula by Stilo Magolide.
Wave would be Emtee’s first official music release since his exit from Ambitiouz entertainment in August 2019. The local rapper officially departed from the record label after months of back and forth between the label and his lawyers. Fans were happy for his exit from the record label but it has taken a little while for Emtee to release a project for his loyal fans who have been patiently waiting.
Mthembeni Ndevu, popularly known by his stage name Emtee, is a South African rapper. He is best known for his official debut hit single, “Roll Up”.
