Emtee Will Pay Back R600 000 Family Money He Used Without His Estranged Wife’s Consent

SA Hip Hop star Emtee has agreed to pay back the R600k family money he used without his estranged wife’s consent.

The drama between Mzansi rapper Emtee and his estranged wife, Nicole Chinsamy, continues to heat up. The rapper reportedly filed for divorce and moved out of their family home after she accused him of assault and later withdrew the case.

According to a recent report by Sunday World, Chinsamy successfully “obtained an urgent court interdict to stop the recording superstar from depleting their estate and encumbering their assets ahead of their pending divorce.” She revealed they started a family account while they were still in love.

She, Emtee, and his friend and lawyer Dumisani Motsamai of Morolong Inc were appointed trustees. After receiving an SMS of an R600k withdrawal from the account that she did not approve of, she filed a motion against it, which was granted. Both parties were ordered by the court not to use the funds for any purpose other than to benefit the beneficiaries.
