Mzansi actress Engle Mbali has expressed her gratitude to anti-GBV activist who came out to support her when she approached the courts for a protection order against her estranged husband Black Coffee.
Not long ago, Enhle had claimed that black Coffee assaulted her at their shared apartment in Sandton during her birthday party. The DJ had reportedly hit her on the wrist in a mild altercation.
Judgment in the application for a protection order against Black Coffee has been reserved by the court.
By the way, Enhle Mbali was recently announced as the brand ambassador for the Winnie Mandela Cup, a position that further enables her take a stand against gender-based violence in South Africa.
She had pledged to fight against GBV, to be a Winnie Mandela in the fight, which is what the cup represents.
Enhle Mbali and Black Coffee had a stormy divorce, with Enhle making demands which Black Coffee and his team deem unreasonable. At the moment, the court has not given Enhle Mbali all her demands in her divorce case. The actress is confident the court will grant her demand soon enough, however.
