South African actress Enhle Mbali has decried the abusive tendencies in South African men, describing it as not normal.
She made this known in a series of tweets days ago. The tweets followed her recent revelation that her estranged husband Black Coffee assaulted her. The revelation had caused her and Black Coffee to trend again. The pair had previously trended in the heat of their acrimonious divorce.
By the way, in a different post, she had stated that men will pay their way through atrocities while the victims of abuse will be victimized. Unimpressed by this morbid reality, she declared it must stop. You can check out her tweets below.
Enhle’s thoughts were shared by most of her fans, who also sympathized with her on the assault she allegedly suffered in the hands of Black Coffee.
South Africa has a high rate of gender based violence. The victims are mostly women. This has led to public condemnation and advocacies from notable figures, including Ntsiki Mazwai.
