The new ABC series starring Eve, Naturi Naughton, Nadine Velazquez, and Brandy as four ’90s hip-hop legends, now in their 40s, who reunite for a chance to recapture their fame – gets off to an electrifying start with the release of its first single + video “Nasty Girl,” as well as two other tracks “Hear Me” and “The Introduction” via Def Jam Recordings.

Brianna aka Professor Sex (Eve), Jill aka Da Thrill (Naturi Naughton), Valeria aka Butter Pecan (Nadine Velazquez), Lil Muffin (Pepi Sonuga) and Naomi aka Xplicit Lyrics (Brandy) gather for the epic rap cipher “The Introduction,” and Naomi (Brandy) performs the beautiful ballad “Hear Me.”
All the original music in “QUEENS,” is performed by the show’s stars at the direction of executive music producer Swizz Beatz. “To see these Queens come together in unity is amazing in 2021,” said Swizz Beatz. “This show is special in many ways to me and it’s an honor to be the Executive Music Producer.”

After their popularity skyrocketed with the success of their chart-topping single, “Nasty Girl,” they were once regarded as one of the greatest girl groups of their generation. Despite critical and commercial success, the group was plagued by internal conflict and jealousy. Estranged and out of touch, the four women, now in their 40s reunite for a chance to recapture their fame and regain the swagger they had in the ‘90s when they were legends in the hip-hop world. The series premiere of “Queens” airs TUESDAY, OCT. 19 (10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. Watch episodes on demand and on Hulu the day following their premieres.
