Eastern Cape Promoter allegedly lost R40k after Afro House producer and DJ TNS left him hanging at a recent event.

An Eastern Cape Promoter allegedly lost R40k after TNS failed to show up at his event. According to reports, the music producer was paid upfront but did not show up. He was reportedly scheduled to perform at Nkandla Bar and Lounge by event organiser Lonwabo Nonkonyana for their gig called Toast to Summer on December 2, 2022.
Nonkonyana revealed that the event’s purpose was to welcome the first week of December with TNS as the main act. The music producer was paid R10 500 upfront whic,h he also confirmed. The prompromotionred that they lost R40k because they refunded people the money they paid for the show. TNS has stated his willingness to repay them. He said, “It would’ve been a loss to travel from KZN to Eastern Cape for that amount.”
