Ex AKA Employee, NOTA Claim To Have Erected Same Billboard In Slain Rapper’s Honour, Mzansi Confused

A little controversy is brewing over who installed a massive billboard in honour of slain South African rapper AKA, The controversy stems from a former employee claiming to have designed the billboard for the songster whereas NOTA, a music executive, claimed to have designed it.

A Twitter account with the handle @EveryoneHatesNB, which is said to be managed by NOTA himself, had tweeted images and a clip of the billboard bearing AKA’s visage. In the caption, he noted that he did it for AKA, “my boy.” You can check it out below.

Someone else had shared snaps of the billboard and a Twitter user with the name Johnny Malepa had retweeted the tweet with the caption: “AKA let me design my first ever Billboard with Touch My Blood, I can’t believe I’m here designing his Tribute billboards.”

With NOTA claiming he put up the billboard and Johnny making a similar claim, who is to be believed? Some tweeps who have responded so far indicated they believe NOTA is the one who is lying in this case.

The highly opinionated music executive has been sharing his thoughts about AKA’s killing and even recently listed his suspects, which include those with AKA at the time of his death.
