It is the wish of many to live to a grand old age before dying. And Nigerian reality star Rico Swavey probably had the same dream. But life had other ideas. Rico Swavey is dead. He was just 29.
Rico Swavey was involved in a ghastly accident and had to be rushed to the emergency care unit, where he fought gallantly until his death. Before his unfortunate passing, his close associates, including Bakre, had enjoined the public to support him in whatever way they could, including prayers and contributing to his medical bills.
He, unfortunately, didn’t make it out of the hospital alive. The news of his passing reverberated across Nigeria’s social media space, with many noting that it was unfortunate that he should die at such a young age.
On Twitter, for instance, some of his fans who had supported him during his adventure in the Big Brother Naija house lamented that he should lose it all in his prime. On the other hand, some noted that at least he is no longer in pain now and would be at peace wherever he is.
Interestingly, a little drama is playing out regarding his death as a nurse has been suspended for filming his final hours at the hospital without consent.
