Elon Musk’s plan of diversifying X (formerly Twitter) and making it a hub for content creators is taking shape, with creators beginning to pivot into the X ecosystem.
The latest creator to take a significant leap is the video creator MrBeast. The American is a mostly YouTube person. Yeah, that’s where he has been posting his videos – the same place he launched his now-successful career as a video creator.
But in a move that Elon Musk himself advertised, MrBeast posted his first major clip on X, which runs for over 16 minutes. It was a significant move because he has not posted like this previously, preferring to post on YouTube, where he has the highest subscribers of any channel on the platform.
Elon Musk shared MrBeast’s post on X, announcing the American has made his first major video post on the platform. This amplified the post and saw other X users sharing the same as well.
With the changes Elon Musk is making to X, other creators have also shown interest in using X as a platform to share their content. At least, like on YouTube, they get to share X revenues at the end of each month.
