Details have emerged from an eyewitness about what happened the morning AKA’s fiancé Nelli Tembe died.
According to a security guard who was on duty at the time of Nelli Tembe’s tragic death, he thought it was a car crash and went to look. He didn’t see anything at first until someone shouted that there was a woman lying naked in the streets.
On taking a closer look, he realized it was a woman and she was still breathing at the time. Medics who made it to the scene tried to save her life but her injuries were said to be massive, and she died soon after.
This much was confirmed by Netcare spokesperson Shawn Herbst, who said that paramedics tried to give Nelli Tembe life support but her condition deteriorated quickly and she died on the spot.
In a statement, AKA’s and Nelli Tembe’s families confirmed her death but without giving details as to the cause. The family praised her memory while asking for privacy in their moment of mourning
AKA is reportedly disconsolate by her passing, surrounded by family and close friends. Condolences have been pouring in for the rapper and his and Nelli Tembe’s families following the news of her death.
