Fans Excited As Nas Wins First Ever Grammy

It was Nas’s finest hour a day ago as he was awarded a Grammy after many years of nominations and winning nothing.

The veteran rapper won a Grammy in the Best rap Album category for his “King’s Disease” project of August 2020. That body of work spots 13 songs in all and features the likes of Brucie B, Foxy Brown, AZ, The Firm, Don Toliver, Big Sean, Charlie Wilsom and Anderson .Paaki, among others musicians.

Nas was happy you win. His fans were in a fevered state of excitement as well. Most of them took to social media to congratulate him on his win after many years.

Not everyone was happy about the Grammys this year, though. The Canadian musician The Weeknd had slammed the recording Academy for failing to nominate a single number from his soaraway album “After Hours.”

In annoyance he vowed not to permit his record label submit any of his works to the academy again. In his exasperation he has the support of several artistes, icluding Drake and Nicki Minaj.
