Fans of Bobby Shmurda are excited that he might soon be released on parole.

Back in 2016, popular American artist, Bobby Shmurda was sentenced to 7 years in prison after pleading guilty to several charges. The charges include conspiracy to murder, weapons possession and reckless endangerment. His 7 year sentence was later reduced to 5 after he received credited for the first two years he served while awaiting trial.
According to new reports, Bobby could be out on parole soon. However, fans thought it would be today, Wednesday, August 5th. They believed his parole hearing had been scheduled for Tuesday, August 5th.
In a statement to The Shade Room, Shmurda’s mother, Leslie Pollard revealed that the hearing is set for August 18, and stated their confidence in his release this time.
