Curious fans who wanted to know the age of “Jerusalema” hitmaker Master KG were shocked when the songster revealed his actual age.
A curious fan had asked the Limpopo artiste his age and Master KG had responded with alacrity: 24. Some fans struggled with incredulity while others said they thought he was in his thirties – perhaps because he looks older in his pictures.

By the way, Master KG, who derived his stage name from the initials of his given name (Kgaogelo Moagi), failed to get a nomination for the South Africa Music Awards (SAMA) this year. This outraged many music watchers in Mzansi who thought if a song must win a SAMA this year, it ought to be the champ’s “Jerusalema.”
That song has been described as a global hit, with DJ Black Coffee stating it was an anthem in Switzerland. In fact the star DJ even urged the SAMA to nominate the song in order for the award body to make history.
