July was the month of rage in South Africa, as many shops, business and properties were either razed to the ground or looted and then burned. What provoked that moment of anarchy was the arrest of the former president Jacob Zuma for contempt of court.
Well, from the look of things, the July Spirit is still roaming free. Anyway, that’s what one can glean from local comedian Lasizwe’s experience. In a recent tweet, the local comedian had noted that his family’s shop was ransacked, looted. He indicated he’s heartbroken by the incident, especially so because it was his late father’s shop.
Social media users were not in the mood to sympathize with him, though, as they wondered why valuables were still in the shop when it has not been operational for months. You can check out the tweet below.
By the way, Lasizwe, the host of the show Drink or Tell The Truth, recently had his invitation to singer DJ Zinhle declined. The “Uzobuya” songstress made it clear she doesn’t trust him not to ask deeply personal questions. She’s in no mood to tell him things and in no mood to drink from his bitter concoction as well.
