Felicia Mabuza-Suttle Remembers Growing Up In Soweto

Felicia Mabuze-Suttle, the former TV presenter, is an entrepreneur and TV host that has made a mark in South Africa. She is a source of inspiration to all youths that aspire to become great and make an impact in the world.

Felicia Mabuze-Suttle recently inspired the youths as she reminisces her time as a child in Soweto and how she used to stand at the gate of her family home and daydream about becoming someone notable.

The entrepreneur and former host of the Felicia Show grew up in Soweto, where she used to imagine a great future ahead of her. Felicia Mabuze-Suttle is now one of the most famous faces in South Africa and a living icon that most youths have taken a role model.

She recently had a feeling of nostalgia as she reminisced about her childhood and the dreams she had imagined when she was young. She made use of this opportunity to encourage and motivate children by addressing children in rural streets and townships in South Africa.

Felicia Mabuza-Suttle has used Miss South Africa and Miss Universe, Zozobini Tunzi, as a case of dreams coming true. Zozibini has been a source of inspiration to South Africans as she has made great accomplishments.

The TV presenter recently took to Instagram to reflect on growing up in her home in Soweto. Her home, which she stated, was a symbol of triumph over apartheid’ was the first double-storey building in her community.

Felicia Mabuza-Suttle talked about how she had dreamt about becoming educated and ‘being somebody.’ She had always wanted to impact people’s lives in a positive way.

She is definitely proud that her dreams have been actualised.

I use to stand at the gate and daydream about getting an education, being somebody, and making a difference in the lives of others. Proud to say those dreams did come true.

She also encouraged youths not to give up on their dream.

To the little girl and boy growing up in those dusty streets of the townships and rural areas, do not give up on your dream. Remember, no-one and nothing should stop you from realising your dream. Zozibini Tunzi proved that if you can dream it, you can achieve it. Dare to dream.
