it is not out of place for politicians of different parties to mock each other for one reason or the other. But South African Minister of Transport Fikile Mbalula appeared to have aggravated a lot of people when he mocked the opposition Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) headed by Julius Malema.
In a recent post on his official X account, he mocked the EFF for having empty seats at its recent event held at Moses Mabhida Stadium, one of the largest auditoriums in South Africa.
His mordant shot didn’t sit well with many South Africans. But it is doubtful anyone was surprised he took those shots anyway. The minister is already infamous for his social media wars.
he is one of the few ministers that South Africans drag online sporadically over what they consider the failings of his ministry, from bad roads to others. You can check out his post below.

One of the minister’s critics enjoined him to focus on his transport ministry and fix the rash of potholes that keep leading to accidents across South Africa. Son wondered why he should focus on EFF when the party doesn’t seem to care whether the ANC (of which Fikile is a part) exits these days.
