After a hiatus spawned by the coronavirus pandemic, South African rapper Cassper Nyovest is back to filling up stadia across South Africa. So yeah, Fill UP is back. This time, though, the songster is taking the iconic event to his hometown.
Returning to his hometown for his Fill Up campaign will surely be a cathartic moment for the “Doc Shebeleza” chanter because that is where it all started – at his grandmother’s house. The dude had big dreams and was bold enough to pursue them.
And here he is, Mufasa – easily one of the biggest names in South African rap at the moment. But, of course, he has his rivals, and he isn’t afraid to taunt them about how far he has come.
He was previously close to DJ Speedsta. But when Speedsta insulted him, he returned the fire, mocking the “Combos Communicating” star for being a manque artist who is uncomfortable with the height he (Cassper) has achieved.
He’d also got tangled with AKA and recently mocked him, noting his brand is ten times bigger than Kiernan’s.
Anyway, Cass is about to show his power again with a new Fill Up campaign. This one goes by the title Fill Up Mmabatho Stadium. The event will hold on December 3 this year.
