Flavour Allegedly Receives $3 Million for Amazon Prime Biopic

Nigerian musician Chinedu Okolie, famous by the stage name Flavour, has clinched a multimillion-dollar deal with Amazon Prime for the publication of his biopic.

The highlife musician himself hasn’t said anything in that regard. However, his close associates claim that he has received a $3 million advance from Amazon Prime for the publication of his biopic.

The deal is particularly significant because it makes the songster the first Nigerian to receive that much money for a biopic.

While Flavour has been silent about the milestone, his fans have been doing the talking, congratulating him on the new win.

Some of his fans thought he should invest more in public relations so that the public would know more about his worth in Nigeria and Africa’s music universe.

Unlike most of his colleagues in the industry, Flavour appears not to revel in too much noise. Maybe that’s why many people are yet to appreciate his contributions to Nigeria’s music orbit and the highlife orbit in particular.

It will be interesting to see if there will be a radical departure from how he has elected to conduct his affairs in the music industry — and how fans will react to the same. Stay tuned if you please.
