South African rapper Flvme has just reached a milestone of 1 million streams with his “Candy Man” album on Spotify and he’s grateful for it.
The hip hop star broke the news on this milestone in a tweet yesterday 25 March. He thanked everyone instrumental to him reaching that number.
Flvme is one artiste totally confident in his own gift, compared to other artistes. Although he might not be the rapper grabbing all the headlines, he counts himself among the best in the game if not the very best.
Of course, his verdict on his craft does not sit well with everyone in the industry. Now and then, news of a beef between him and other artistes hit the blogosphere. Just recently, he had a Twitter spat with Emtee over who, between the two of them, has the best catalogue. So heated was the twar that an older colleague, Da L.E.S., had to intervene, urging the two of them to stop it immediately.
By the way, “Candy Man,” which popped online in July 2019, was Flvme’s debut album.
