South African rapper Flvme is on course to end the year on a grand note. he’s releasing a new single ahead of his album, But there’s more to the songster, as he’s also recorded another milestone: A GQ magazine feature.
It was an unexpected move from the stable of GQ mag and he didn’t even notice that immediately. But when he did, he made it a point to respond, thanking the editors of the mag for the feature.
In a post on his Instagram page, he shared the cover of the magazine which showed him as the cover bloke. In the caption, he registered his surprise at having only just seen the mag cover featuring him The post follows below.
GQ is one of the standout magazines covering the hip-hop culture in South Africa. Before Flvme, it has featured some other key names in the industry, including Family Tree boss Cassper Nyovest, YoungstaCPT and Moozlie,
The magazine has been around for several years and many industry players see it as an honour to be featured on its pages. Well, congratulations are in order for Flvme and eyes peeled for his next project. We’ll be here to share that with you, of course.
