Apparently Focalistic’s “Ke Star” song was leaked before he officially released it. The songster has just disclosed that.
In a sit-down with Kaya FM’s Kgomotso meso, the songster revealed that he gave the song to a couple of people to listen to and before he knew it, the song had popped on YouTube. With over 500k streams within two weeks, it dawned on the amapiano artiste that the public was actually into the song. So he released the official one, which did crazy number as well, according to his
“Ke Star” is one of Focalistic’s biggest hits yet. Released last year.. The impact of te song was such that Focalistic wasted no time releasing a remix with Nigerian singer Davido as guest.
The original tune featured Vigro. But he was only acknowledged as a producer of the remix, leading him to describe the omission of his name as one of the singers as an attempt to undermine his brand.
Well, leaked or not, it is clear “Ke Star” made the impact Focalistic hoped it would. Last we checked, several artistes have vibed with the number, including Nigeria’s D’Banj and America’s Diddy.
