Amapiano star Focalistic opens up on the “Choppin’ It” podcast about what made him leave SA Hip Hop to Piano.
Focalistic is currently one of the most famous Piano artists in the country. The star switched from Hip Hop to Amapiano and has counted blessings since. Appearing on the “Choppin’ It” podcast, he opened up about making the decision to switch.
He said, “To be honest with you, it wasn’t like a decision, it was a feeling. I never wanted to listen to anyone’s hip hop at the time because I felt like it was all fake.”
He further explained, “It’s all pool parties, baddies, and the girls aren’t even that super fly. Like just relax, do real life.”
He also shared what attracted him to Amapiano. “On Piano, it could be real life. All the songs I’ve made are like real life.” Foca has successfully taken Amapiano to the world.
