One day, at school, he had told himself he would become one of the most successful South African musicians. And that dream has come true.

Focalistic has emerged as a sterling example of what it is not to give up on your dreams. Formerly a hip hop artist, he had renounced hip hop for amapiano when he didn’t get the support he deserved after being pronounced the hottest MC.
Does that mean he’s completely given up on hip hop? Not really. It’s just that amapiano is his principal focus at the moment.
