Nhlanhla Lux to Spend the Weekend Behind Bars, Bail Application Set for Monday

Leader of the Operation Dudula advocacy in South Africa, Nhlanhla Lux, is expected to apply for bail next Monday following his assault for home invasion.

A pensioner and member of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Victor Ramerafe, had accused Nhlanhla Lux and the Operation Dudula throng of violently invading his home and ransacking the place in their alleged hunt for drugs.

For its part, the Operation Dudula advocates claimed they had stormed the place because they got reliable information that Victor was a drug dealer and had drugs at his apartment.

No drugs were found there, however.

Nhlanhla Lux had been arrested after he granted an interview to Kaya FM’s Sizwe Dhlomo and made to leave. He will spend the weekend behind bars until Monday when he’s expected to apply for bail.

His arrest followed a demand by the EFF that he should be taken into custody for the assault on the home of one of its members.

On Friday, a case was opened at the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court but was postponed to Monday, March 28, for a bail hearing.

Operation Dudula advocates to put South Africa first, as well as take the jobs from illegal immigrants in South Africa and give the same to the local population.
