From genesis, we have moved to the revelations… The list of winners of the South Africa Hip Hop Awards (SAHHA) is out finally. It was a moment of joy for some artistes and a moment of pain for others.
After asking fans to be vigilant so that peeps who are not deserving of the awards shouldn’t snap any, Family Tree boss Cassper Nyovest walked away with what many consider the most important category of the SAHHA this year: Artist of the Decade.
For that win fans and close associates have been sending him their congratulations. Former Idol SA judge Somizi is one of those who are chuffed with Cassper’s win.
In a post, he had called Cassper Nyovest his brother and friend and described his SAHHA win as well deserved.
Other musicians who snapped awards at the SAHHA this year include Costa Titch, Riky Rick, Stogie T, and DJ PH. Cassper Nyovest is the biggest winner, though, snapping awards in several categories
