Gen V Producers Are Honouring Chance Perdomo’s Memory

Producers of the show “Gen V” are honouring the memory of the late Chance Perdomo’s by not recasting his role.

According to new reports, the producers of the superhero action series ‘Gen V’ have shared a statement revealing they will not recast Chance Perdomo’s role following his death. According to them, no one can replace the 27-year-old actor who died in March following a motorcycle crash.

Perdomo gained praise for playing the role of Andre Anderson in the Prime Video spin-off series of the top super hero show “The Boys.” His character, Andre is a popular student at Godolkin University who has the ability to magnetically manipulate things.

The statement was shared on Sunday, and it read,

“As we continue to navigate the tragic loss of Chance Perdomo, everyone at Gen V is determined to find the best way to pay respect to his memory. We won’t be recasting the role, because no one can replace Chance,”

“Instead, we have been taking the time and space to recraft our season 2 storylines as we begin production in May,”

Perdomo was nominated for a British Academy Television Award for his performance in the BBC Three film ‘Killed by My Debt’ in 2018. He gained popularity playing Ambrose Spellman, Sabrina’s cousin, in the Netflix series “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”.
