George Maluleka Exits Mamelodi Sundowns

George Maluleka is now a free man after exiting top-flight side Mamelodi Sundown in the PSL.

George’s exit was announced on Tuesday, making him eligible to join another club in the Premier South African League.

In a post on its verified Instagram page, the club had announced Maluleka’s exit without giving any clue why the player was leaving. It merely described him as a champ on and off the pitch and thanked him for his service to the club. You can check out the post below.

His stay at, and eventual exit from, the club remains a subject of conversation among football fanatics in South Africa. Some peeps thought he had a better time at Kaizer Chiefs when he had a regular shirt, unlike at Mamelodi, where they said he was always on the bench.

Interestingly, after his exit, another player, Sibusiso Vilakazi, is also on his way out of the Mamelodi Sundowns team. Vilakazi’s contract expires at the end of this month, and the club is uninterested in renewing it.

By the way, last we checked, Maluleka had said nothing about his exit from Sundowns. It’ll be interesting to see where he goes after his departure. Keep your eyes peeled, peeps.
