Hip hop star Gigi Lamayne has been voted among the top 25 most influential women in South Africa.

The pool to get the top 25 most influential South Africans was made by BrandWatch, a digital consumer research company with headquarters in Brighton, founded by Giles Palmer.

Gigi Lamayne appeared on the 10th spot, just below Ferial Haffajee.

The top 10 on the list are Bonang Matheba, Boity, Hellen Zille, Karabo Mokgoko, Connie Ferguson, Minnie Dlamini-Jones, Redi Tlhabi, Anele Mdoda, Ferial Haffajee, and Gigi Lamayne – in that order

Grateful for making the list, the “Job Woods” rapper  Gigi Lamayne had taken to Instagram to thank her fans who made it possible.

Some denizens were curious why popular makeup artist Mihlali Ndamase didn’t make the cut. Well, it appears the makeup artiste is indifferent to not making the list. Her fans are, however, spitting fire on her behalf on Twitter.
