South African rapper Gigi Lamayne has just announced she’ll be dropping a new album, “Set in Stone,” soon. And her fans are understandably excited.
They should be, perhaps. For one, late last year, the celebrated musician had announced that she was cutting off all ties with hip hop. Her words had caused a stir in the industry at the time.
Well, with the announcement of the new album, it appears like she has changed her mind — which may not have been set in stone, after all — and fans may look forward to another sumptuous rap offering from her kitty.
In a post on Instagram, she had shared the cover art of the imminent project and told fans that it’d be available on May 20. The detail ended there. She neither revealed the number of tracks in the future project nor did she clue fans in on the guest list.
Instead, she turned the artwork unveiling into a challenge and asked fans who they think will feature in the imminent project. There were some guesses, which she neither confirmed nor denied.
