Female Mzansi rapper, Gigi Lamayne has shared how she came up with the forthcoming song “Mashonisa”.
It is Gigi Lamayne’s year, and the Mzansi star is killing it big time. The talented female rapper grabbed all the attention when she announced the coming release of her song “Mashonisa” featuring Busiswa and Makhadzi. A snippet of the song has already gone viral on TikTok.
In a recent Q&A with fans on her Instagram stories, Lamayne revealed how “Mashonisa” became a song. According to her, Loadshedding inspired the idea of making it. Truly, we did not see that coming. We wonder what else has inspired some of her songs.
Gigi also recently released the official music video for her song “Mandingo”. The song is featured on the “Mermaids And Stuff” album which was released last year. It follows a few other songs on the album which were all released as a single.
