“God Bless My Brother” – AKA Makes Peace With Burna Boy

The beef season is over. Now, South African rapper, AKA, is seeking to make amends, move on with his life, and quash his beef with his Nigerian counterpart Burna Boy.

AKA and the Nigerian had a beef spanning years. But it ended following Burna Boy’s appearance at the Delicious Festival, where he performed several songs, including “All Eyes On Me,” his collaboration with AKA.

Following Burna’s performance in South Africa, a fan of the “Fela in Versace” rapper asked him to quash his beef with the Nigerian while also noting his desire to see the two of them perform the song soon enough – during one of his concerts.

In response to the fan, AKA had noted that he has no problem with the Nigerian. He ended up asking for God’s blessings on the Nigerian. You can check out the tweety below.

AKA’s beef with Burna Boy dates back to 2019 during the xenophobic attacks in South Africa when the Nigerian had urged black foreigners in the country to defend themselves. He also urged AKA to beef up his security, for which the South African called him out.

But all that is in the past now, as AKA has moved on with his life.
