Celebrity couple Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo has signed a R3 million worth TV show, becoming the first gqom couple to be so signed of recent.
The pair is set to debut a reality television show dabbed “Uthando Lodumo.” According to reports, the show will debut on ShowMax in February 2021. It would be an opportunity for those who have always wanted to know the couple on a new level to do so.
The show will be produced by the award-winning Thomas Gumede and Lingile Radu, a one-time SAFTA nominee. Also, reports have it that the show will be in 13 episodes and will chronicles the love life of the two gqom artistes.
By the way, the announcement of the show follows a remarkable milestone in Mampintsha’s relationship with Babes Wodumo. He had proposed to her almost a year after he joked in an Instagram post if she would accept if he proposed.
It has been a year since the pair attempted a television show. Back in 2019, they had wanted to experiment with a television show entitled “Impilo,” but it wasn’t a success. Hopefully, “Uthando Lodumo” will erase the previous failure.
