Hacker Leaks GTA 6 Footage

Hacking is one affliction the world had been contending with since the invention of computers decades ago. Over time, hacking, and the techniques used, have become pretty sophisticated. And the world continues to reel from that reality.

Take-Two Interactive Software Inc is the latest to be hit by hackers. The firm’s intensely anticipated Grand Theft Auto GTA 6 was compromised and pre-release footage leaked on the internet.

The leak was massive, leading to doubts that the leaked footage might not be real. However, those conversant with the game’s development are pretty verdict in their verdict that the cache of videos leaked by the hackers so far is, in fact, authentic.

The leak is significant not just because Take-Two Interactive Software Inc is one of the biggest game developers out there but also because the leak of this scale is not something that happens every day.

The last Grand Theft Auto came out exactly nine years ago, in 2013, and was immensely popular. However, the current GTA 6 had reportedly been in development from as far back as 2014.

Take-Two Interactive Software Inc has confirmed the breach and the leaking of its GTA 6. But then the final version of the game is expected to be slightly refined from what’s been leaked.
