Hamilton in Secret FIA Talks, Might Miss Canadian Grand Prix

Ahead of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has confessed to having secret talks with FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem.

The talks are all the more interesting because Sulayem is a known critic of the Mercedes team member. Sulayem had called out Hamilton as well as Vettel ove their campaign for human rights, stating that previous Formula 1 drivers merely drive without getting involved in such advocacies.

Apparently, the criticism wasn’t enough to stop both parties from putting heads together over Hamilton’s career. Also, Sulayem had to backtrack when he was severely criticised for his comments about the duo.

Still, Hamilton might miss the Montreal show, according to Mercedes boss Toto Wolff, who noted that the celebrated driver had complained of severe back pain. So, except there be a miracle later in the week, Hamilton is out of the Canadian Grand Prix.

Well, that’s not the only issue many F1 buffs are following closely. McLaren is also embroiled in a team orders row.

Well, it would turn out another win for Hamilton if he should somehow recover on time to make it back on the road, chopping miles with Mercedes like nobody’s business. If that should happen, we would be happy to share it with you.
