Author and businesswoman Happy Simelane has spoken about going back to her “first love” and baby daddy, noting that she was actually the one who wronged the man and not the other way round, but they are getting back together and forgetting about the past.
She made this known during a recent appearance on Podcast and Chill With MacG. According to her, contrary to what she said when she was 19 and pregnant for him, he did not rape her. She was rather forced to say he raped her and she did just that, not realizing the impact of that claim.
He was arrested for about eight months over her claims. In her own words, “This guy is my first love. He did nothing wrong to me, I’m the one who wronged him and still, he’s willing to come back into my life and build with me. And we make it work.”
But all that appears to be in the past now, as the said man, whom she describes as her first love, has paid lobola for her. Happy Simelane has been pretty open about her story, but she has not escaped criticism from some members of the public, who said she almost ruined another man’s life.
