The prospect of surgery is something that provokes a big fear among those who facing one medical challenge or the other, and that’s because sometimes things go wrong.
So, for those who go into surgery and come out successfully, there is so much to be grateful for. South African actress Harriet Manamela is an example of this reality.
She was in the hospital recently for a hip replacement surgery and had many across South Africa rooting for her. Out of surgery now, she has nothing but gratitude for those who supported her and wished her the best while in surgery.
During that period, Florence Masebe was picked to continue Hariet’s tole in “Skeem Saam.” Of course, she is grateful to Florence for taking up the role in the interim while she took care of herself at the hospital.
With the surgery over now, Harriet is looking to continue in the role for which she is already famous in “Skeem Saam.” And if the reactions from the public are anything to go by, then the fans are pretty glad to see her back.
By the way, Harriet Manamela played the character Meikie. Florence, who replaced her, will hold to the role until the end of season 12.
