He may have had his 2020 rape conviction overturned over the weekend, however, it is certainly not yet uhuru for disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein, who remains convicted for a different offence and was even hospitalised last Saturday.
His hospitalization came around the same period when the industry was abuzz with condemnations over the overturning of his 2022 rape conviction.
Anyway, he is currently at Bellevue Hospital. He has reportedly been there upon his return to New York. The details of his illness aren’t public, but it is reported that he is been treated for a slew of health challenges and is also under close observation.
At the height of his power. Weinstein was one of the leading figures in Hollywood, but he had fallen into infamy with the storm of assault and rape allegations against him.
Right now,m even though New York’s highest court overturned in 2020 con eviction, he is still not a free man, having been convicted on charges similar to the one overturned in New York recently.
